A slurry pump is an industrial pump designed to pump liquids that contain solid particles. The design and structure of slurry pumps vary to accommodate different types of slurries, which can have varying solid concentrations, particle sizes, particle shapes, and solution compositions.
The main difference is their applications. Slurry pumps are primarily used in industries such as metallurgy, power generation, mining, and coal to transport slurries containing solid particles. Mud pumps are mainly used in industries such as drilling, pharmaceuticals, brewing, and papermaking to transport suspended mud slurries.
We offer an extensive selection of materials. For specialized applications, we can provide metal materials that are specifically optimized for low pH environments, high-temperature conditions, or exceptional resistance to abrasion.
We primarily offer standard products, but we can also provide customized solutions based on customer requirements.
Centrifugal pumps are driven by motors or other power sources. When the pump is started, the pump shaft drives the impeller to rotate at high speed. The liquid filled between the blades will also rotate. Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid moves radially from the center of the impeller towards the outer periphery. As the liquid leaves the impeller and enters the pump casing, it gradually slows down due to the expanding flow passages in the casing. Part of the kinetic energy is converted into static pressure, and finally, the liquid flows tangentially into the discharge pipeline, achieving the purpose of transportation.

Slurry pumps are mainly used in industries such as mining, power generation, coal, metallurgy, chemical, and building materials.
We have a dedicated technical team that can analyze your specific application requirements and provide you with the best solution.
Our company has the capability to handle special materials, and we have specialized R&D and material experts to meet the demands of unique material requirements.
Currently, we can produce slurry pumps with a size of 20'X18' (inlet and outlet).
All components undergo rigorous reverse engineering using 2D and 3D modeling. First article inspection includes comparison with OEM parts followed by fitment testing. All impellers undergo performance testing to demonstrate their compliance with OEM specifications.
Common installation methods include:
There are six basic components of a slurry pump with multiple options: impeller, casing, drive unit, suction liner or liner, shaft seal parts, and bearing assembly. The impeller, casing, and suction liner are critical components for wet-wear life as they determine the pump's performance.
There is no absolute ideal impeller or impeller design. Designing the right impeller for a slurry pump system depends on factors such as wear resistance, efficiency, and slurry characteristics.
Most of our slurry pumps use three to five vanes, while water pumps typically have six or more.
