Hongchang Pump boasts a workforce of more than 120 skilled employees and operates multiple workshops dedicated to various stages of production, such as model making, casting, heat treatment, machining, and assembly. Annually, we manufacture over 3,000 tons of high-chromium alloy and deliver 2,000 pumps to the market. What sets us apart is our comprehensive capabilities that encompass the entire production process, from initial design models to the final products. This includes proficiently managing tasks such as model design, metal melting, casting, sand treatment, cleaning, machining, and final assembly. With over two decades of expertise in casting and machining, we guarantee the production of top-notch products that are meticulously controlled throughout every stage, starting from the selection of raw materials to the delivery of finished goods.
Our mold making workshop is equipped with more than 20 sets of advanced CNC machining equipment and a 3D scanner with supporting software for component measurement and model production. In addition to mold making, the workshop is responsible for pre-inspection and routine maintenance prior to model entry.
Our casting workshop is equipped with advanced continuous sand mixers, and all castings are produced using high-quality resin sand molds. We utilize medium-frequency induction furnaces in the melting process, with five furnaces available for use including 3T, 5T, and 10T capacities. The maximum casting weight for a single piece can reach an impressive 25T. To ensure that the casting's chemical composition meets the required specifications, we perform composition analysis using direct-reading spectrometers prior to casting. This ensures that our castings meet the highest quality standards.
The machining workshop has advanced machining equipment and processes similar to domestic counterparts in the industry. The workshop currently has more than 40 CNC metal cutting machines and machining centers, with the largest turning diameter of 6300 millimeters. Vertical turning lathes, vertical boring machines, and CNC wire cutting machines can process complex-shaped and high-precision parts. Advanced ceramic tools and rational cutting processes are used for wear-resistant castings, solving the processing difficulties of high-hardness wear-resistant materials and significantly improving the processing efficiency of wear-resistant castings. The hardened castings achieve an impressive Rockwell hardness of 62 degrees. Additionally, the threaded hub of the impeller can be precision-machined in a single step after heat treatment, ensuring precise assembly and improving overall operational efficiency.
